How to partition Hard disk in windows 7?

Step 1 : Press windows and enter 'diskmgmt.msc' Press enter

Step 2: Right click on the drive to be shrink  as shown. Click on shrink volume.A window will appear specifiy the volume to be partition. press enter.

Step 3: The volume get shrink and empty space appears . Now we have to create new drive . 

 Step 4:Right click on the empty space created ,click 'new volume.Specify the volume size,press enter. Specify the drive letter ,press enter.Keep the rest as default press enter. The new drive will be created.

Thus we have sucessfully partition the drive.
